The Illusion of Quick Dress

Waiting for one's wife or girlfriend to finish changing when going out is believed to be one of the banes of men. However, with Dania Kaseeva, this little bugbear is durely not an issue. With her partner David Maas, the duo have been thrilling audiences with their eye-popping quick costume changes and jaw dropping illusions.

As a daughter of Rustan Kaseev, a legend of the Russian circus, one can say that Dania was literally born into show business. Her dynamism and technique with the hula hoop were so renowned that she won a gold medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris in 1988.

Show business is also in the blood of David Maas. His father, Jerry Robert  Maas, was a concert pianist. But not for David was a life of tickling the ivories. Instead, he decided to fly high instead. At the age of eight, he started juggling on a low wire before becoming a master practitioner of magic.

David and Dania will be bringing their superbly choreographed act, complete with stunning illusions and jaw-dropping costume changes, to the Arena of Stars at the Genting International  Magic Festival.
